Hi Jorge!

>hmmm... I tried it with one of my projects and it does work as you say, the only thing I could think of is a conflicting, out of date copy of an index, table, or the database itself.

I've recompiled, validated, copied all called tables, and as I said it works when I call the exe from the base folder, just doesn't work when I call it from another directory. Something subtle and strange is happening.

>BTW, why do you need to specify the whole path to the database if it's in your search path already?

Just to be certain it's calling what I think it is. I put the explicit call in in the troubleshooting phase of development.

>>SET Default to g:\db\timecard
>>OPEN database g:\db\timecard\data\timesrch.dbc shared

Thanks for your help.
