I once created a "popup" label resembling a tooltip, called in the column mousemove, that's one idea. However, to be consistent in all our apps here (including VB,PB) we all agreed to just use the status bar to display text messages like this...you can do that in the column mousemove, of course, too...so there are two ideas, anyway...
