A label's tab order can be quite useful. To create a keyboard shortcut for a textbox or any other control that doesn't have a caption, you can put a label next to it, make sure it's tab order is 1 less than the targeted control, and set the label's caption to use the keyboard shortcut. "Tex\<box". Since the label can't actually receive focus, it passes it on to your textbox.
