I agree that the upsizing wizard is not so great. I've used remote views successfully. You can also use SQL Server 7's new data transformation services (DTS). In some cases this may be the most efficient way to import large amounts of data.

>Thanks, I will do that. Next time though, I think I will start with remote views and avoid using the Upsizing Wizard. I wasn't too impressed with the way it worked. I did manage to get the data converted, and my app appears to be working correctly, but I received several error messages while the wizard ran. I choose to ignore all of them and there were no errors listed on the report afterwards. Sorry, but I didn't write down the error messages I received. So much for a seemless upsize to SQL Server.
