There were problems with some of the early Cyrix Pentium clones; they did not implement some of the protected mode instruction set in early maskings, but AFAIK, this was corrected several yeas ago, and is not a problem with the current Cyrix M2 chips, or the IBM-fabricated Cyrix M1 chips.
