I didn't necessarily interpret what he said as you say, but if that's what he meant, I agree with the premise that you outline. Sorry if I didn't catch the drift of what he said. I also certainly agree that Fox data is not a threat to SQL Server or MSDE. Did I miss something here? Maybe I need another cup of coffee<s>.

I would like to ask though, what is the specific benefit of OLE DB if Fox data is not considered a data store?
