Hi Scott

Some conversion issues that I have had in the past.
1. Make sure that any empty memo field is set to null before inserting.
2. Drop all triggers and other contraints while doing the conversion. This is just overhead that will slow the process as the data grows.
3. Use BCP if there is a lot of data. This is much faster than going through VFP. You would have to export the data out of dbf's into a delimited format.
