I'm just starting using the mere mortals framework. Having read the manual several times, and played with tutorial, I decided my next step up the learning curve was to turn Tasmanian Traders into a MM application.
I'm not going to try to integrate existing sample code into mere mortals; I just want to bring over the existing database with referential integrity intact.
Quick start does not handle existing databases as far as I can tell.(If it does, let me know.)
From what I can see there are threes ways to handle this:
1) Create the application manually. Can't find in the developers guide how to create an application manually, adding all the appropriate system tables, copying the right system code ect.
2)Semi - Manually -- running quick start aganst a directory with an existing database and then fixing the things that quick start can't handle . Again, can't find how to do this in the developers guide.
3) Just create a quick start application and add the actual existing database as a second database. This can't be what is intended.
Thanks
