You have to remember that VFP is attached to the other Microsoft products by a bungee cord, and when it gets too far ahead of the others in building useable apps, it gets snapped back. No doubt VFP will improve in those areas once MS believe that some of their other products are actually robust enough for database apps. They don't want VB looking too silly!
