I don't use foxfire - so I can't tell you if it does or doesn't (I think it
is CB3 complient and if so- it should)
but as for the "why not"
working with remote data is different then working with local data, using
local views is close to working with remote data (but still there are SQL
passthroughs and/or command that only work on local data like BEGIN ... END
TRANSACTIONS etc.)
