Looks worst than it is. I'm carrying CAN$8 of coins right now (2 x $2 + 4 x $1). People here in Canada said about the same thing when they talked about introducing $1 coins.

Besides, one or two dollars isn't worth much anyway nowadays. In 5 years everyone in the US will be carrying one dollar coins and it won't matter. That is until we can get an electronic cash card implented in our brains... :)
