I'm trying to append a Clipper dbf into a VFP table & get the message "uniqueness of index ... is violated". There is no duplication of values in the Clipper dbf. Why do I get this error message? It gets no further than the 1st record. I can append records in VFP & put in the info. that's in the Clipper dbf & get no uniqueness violation. I don't want to manually enter all the date!
