I have an requirement where I need to record date and time of
particular event. I could simply put datetime field for this.
But datetime field is having problem that if user does not enter
time than vfp automatically updates it with midnight time.
In my case, it is very often that user do not enter time.

So, i have to split datetime between date type and character type.
I will be storing time in character field. But i know that if we
store time in character field then there are some validations require like hour should be withing range etc .

I would be thankful if somebody helps if they have similar experience
or if some class is already there than please let me know.
