Yep, just went over the stuff that came with the last MSDN update. It included Win2K and the 64 bit SDK. From the documents, in order to produce 64 bit code you had to run VC++ under the Beta 3 release of Win2000 Professional.
If recollection serves, Win2K will replace both Win9x and NT.

You and I could probably sit around and speculate all day about the possible implications. I hesitate do so, however, because it's nothing more than WAGs. Potentially, this could mean some great things.
