Perhaps, perhaps not. I really don't know. Like you said, better to stop the speculation here. I will, however, remind people of what happened with last time FoxPro was modified due to a change in the underlying OS. We got VFP. If significant internal changes are to be made, the time to do it is when you're modifying it to take advantage of a new OS. So...

BTW, the version of VC++ mentioned was 6.0. I left that out of my previous.
