One thing that I would like to see is a better textbox. The way the current textbox handles numbers (and indeed its handling of alignment) is very poor and has created considerable problems for us with our users since it is hard to explain the behaviour other than to say "that's the way Microsoft wrote it".

There have been several attempts by third parties to address the problems (textnum, etc.) none of which are totally satisfactory. Based on these we have written our own numtext class which works OK but is still not ideal.

Also the grid control has a number of strange behaviours that could be fixed (and perhaps they would let us subclass columns!).

In other words what I would like to see is that the existing controls work better and are more flexible - I don't really need more 'features'
