Thank you ever so much for the reply.The solution you proided i had already tried in the lostfocus of the grid TextBox (ThisForm.StatusBarText=''), does not work.But I definately got a clue and wrote this instead -> Thisform.Grid1.Column1.Text1.StatusBartext=''it Worked.
