Hiya Dragan,

The point is that 3.0 was written to the Win32 spec, which existed long before the release of 95. In order to do so, numerous and significant internal changes were required. At this point in time, the Win64 spec has been out for some time, and, it's my hunch, that the next version of VFP was written against it. I doubt that if it were written to Win32 that it would have been demoed on Win2K, which is a 64 bit OS. Since there are numerous changes in the Win64 spec (new data types, functions, etc.) this would be the time for significant internal changes in the VFP internals, just as occurred with VFP 3.

Like the line about VFP's power, however.< g >
