Put SCREEN=OFF in the config file for your app and then somewhere at the beginning of your main program put _SCREEN.Visible=.T. I usually create any objects, variables, etc I need, and initialize the menu and toolbar before issuing _SCREEN.Visible=.T. This way the application 'pops' up for them rather than them watching it being built. HTH
