>We are running applications in VFP 5 SP 3 with Visual Maxframe 3.0 and Stonefield V4.00.5000. Every time we try to update a table’s structure after the table structure is updated and the related views are being updated we get a Dr. Watson c005 error. The views are not updated but the table structure has changed. Has anyone seen this problem before? If so do you have any ideas how we can fix it? Said ideas would be greatly appreciated.

While doing some work tracking SQL calls to an Oracle back-end, I created a table to hold the statements processed, then I could track any coding/logic errors. Once in a while, I started getting the C0005 error but nothing else in the program changed.

The FINAL result of all this was that there was some corruption in the header of the logging table. Since this was a small table of only 4 columns and was constantly being ZAPped as sections of testing were complete, I just rebuilt the table from scratch and no more C0005 error. Even though you could directly open, browse, append, and delete from VFP command window, but once inside a program, WHAM, C0005. Haven't had any more problems since, and we didn't apply any patches to the PC or VFP service packs... Hope this is all you are running into also...
