Stable or not...this may be a network issue although more related to the client as opposed to the server.

Earlier today there was discussion about a file access problem under VFP on a Windows95 workstation connecting to an NT Server via NWLink. But I've personally experienced periodic problems on a straight Novell/Client32 setup. Make sure that all workstations using SBT have the most recent client.

As far as general fields, that might be an idea, but I don't know how difficult that would be to put on forms in FPW. SBT tends to be restrictive with stuff like that. (I was formerly an SBT reseller. Glad I'm not anymore :-) )
