Michelle,

You have one of "those" husbands too?

I'm here at home now and checked. No streaks. I wonder if it is NT? Seems that the user who had the streaks had NT at the time.

Our home machine (the one with the "first-rate" card) has really changed my life. My husband (4th level network and hardware support) spent a lot of time researching compatible parts and we built it over Labor Day weekend. I had never done much with hardware before, and hadn't even installed software. (I worked at a place which insisted that only the network group could install
software!!) So, since then I changed jobs too and can do a lot more of my own stuff at work now. Great chance to learn.

My husband is pretty opinionated in his preferences (he's a Linux guy). All I know is that the graphics card (and the 100 MHZ USB) will give me 1600x1200 resolution with 32 bit true color if I want it.
