Thanks. I got to the same answer myself on Monday by looking at the Excel object model some more and doing some experiments.

More interesting, the whole thing is explained by Dan Freeman in this month's FPA. The ":=" is for something VBA calls a named parameter. Check out Menachem and Dan's articles on COM Automation in FPA. Good stuff.
