Hi John,

Check to make sure that the necessary DLL (not Shell32) is registered in the Registry. These should be scrrun.dll and wshext.dll. Easiest is probably to search with the Registry editor for the word Scripting. If they're not registered, run REGSVR32 against both (they should be in your System or System32 directory).
