When we train new developers ,they have to submit thier work to me before it is added to the actual project - any one that forgets to decalre his/her variables or doesn't use meaningful names etc. has to prepare coffe for whole of the development team , one or two rounds like that , and suddenly they remember to check that everything is in order :)

>Is there anyone out there who works in a team environment and is responsible for supervising coding changes (i.e. were coding standards adhered to, were the correct changes made, what were the changes, passing the changes on to quality control, etc.). Or even if you're not responsible for the supervision can you tell me how you do things in your business.

I realize I can get a history of check-ins/outs from VSS but I want to find the code revisions. Since VSS can only do differences on text files and not VFP's .SCX and .VCX it's not much help (or am I incorrect on this point?)

>It seems as though the Fox community consists of a large number of independent consultants for whom this doesn't seem to be as big a problem. I'm hoping there's someone out there, who works on a vertical market package for instance, who'd like to share some of their experience. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
