I don't about v3.0, but I didnt see anything new from 5-6. As it is now, the best thing to do in this area is look Steve Sawyer's chapter on RI in Hentzenwerke's Effective Techniques book. The current RI and Triggers work, but Steve shows how you simplify & customize your own RI code and finally make it Robust. There's one small bug in it he mentioned at Devcon, easy fix but... in the luggage still sitting next to the door.
