Heres a good one for you.
Flight was supposed to leave at 1:52 pm from Palm Springs to Chicago. It was canceled just after I sat down in the waiting area, 40 minutes before we were to take off. My daughters, who I brought with me to Palm Springs, had just left to walk around, leaving me with all their carry on luggage, purses and cameras. Of course, not knowing what happens when they cancel your flight, I see a bunch of people get up and run out of the room. I'm thinking - oh great, I can only guess where they are going.

I pick up all the luggage, and slowly make my way back to the American Airline check in desk only to find about 100 people in front of me. The line was terrible and about 2 hrs later, I get another flight. We pack into a cab and 'Drive' to Los Angeles where we waited until 11:50 to load the plane! I ran up a pretty good bar tab on my charge card - wonder if the company I work for will pay on that one!
We were supposed to be home three hours before we even got on the plane. Of course after we arrived in Chicago it was another 2 hours of waiting before we finally left for Grand Rapids. Fun fun fun!
