I have this old Dbase system that I need to convert into VFP6.
This is a inspection program that a inspector have to find
a violation code that is 2 inch thick in volume. I had stored
this regulation in a DBF and stored violation text into a momo field.
In addtion, I assigned a few search key word to each regulation code.
So I maintain a serch key word table too.

This looks rather primitive in this day and age. I understand that
a third part product like PHDbase would do a superv job but this
program have to be distributed to hundreds of people and licensing
cost would be enourmous that my client don't have.

Is threre any other shareware of technique I can use to allow
user to serch any word in the memo field with out assigning
keywords. May be Microsoft Word?

Any tips or direction would be appreciated.
