This can not be done. I am importing data from XLS and before that, I have no control. Thanks anyway for the insight. I will just write up an program that copys to a temp file and then do from there, it is the slow way, but it is something that will work. Maybe after I finish it, I could post the coding here and see if others can modify it to run faster for me... Thanks again.
