Hey folks, need some help. I am currently using a Client Server application right now that forces me to use RDO to access my Foxpro 2.x and Visual foxpro tables/databases.

I am using the Visual Foxpro ODBC driver, but when I try to update a table, if the table is of any decent size, I get an error back from the ODBC driver saying the SQL statement is to long.

Now I have traced the data being sent to the ODBC driver, and the SQL statements can be rather large, but even semi-small ones fail with this error (approx 80 character SQL Statement).

My question is, is this a well known fact that I'm unaware of? Is there a way around without sending 10 updates to the same table? RDO is giving me enough headaches because I would like to do Pessimistic updates as well, but apparently the VFP ODBC driver won't support that either (not with RDO, that is).

I've tried every VFP ODBC driver Version from Version 5 to Version 6, but no luck, can someone help?
