I routinely have to connect to our AS400 to bring data over such as employee information, BOM's and part information. I have been doing this through ODBC and have had pretty good succeess. Some of the applications I am creating are starting to roll out across the WAN now and their access time back to the 400 across the WAN is slow and the ODBC connection is not as reliable as I would like.

The question is this... Does anyone know of any other way to connect to the 400 other than ODBC? Any type of a direct connect or something?
