I too am using VFP to put a front end onto an Oracle App, and have found the best way to deal with Oracle views, or views on an Oracle table is to create the views in Oracle ( I cheat and use Visual C++ database designer to build the views, it's WISIWYG). I use the Oracle Client driver (8.0.5) for the connection and have only minor problems(see my post in forms) passing SQL. Note, it is PL/SQL, not the other way around.
