Table_buffered recordsource...

Ahah...and what is *that* when it's at home? (I thought this would be like just addressing the texbox.value)

I tried doing a SUM tablename.fieldname, but I think I'm getting all screwed up with SELECTING the correct table, which knocks the table management out of kilter.

Too bad about not talking to the grid directly... I do fine by displaying just the textbox.values for a bunch of things in other areas...and the underlying buffering (which to me...is sort of a black box) seems update the tables OK.
