>Actually, if you didn't want the car you wouldn't accept it. In the US, prizes are considered taxable, so the more valuable the prize, the higher the taxes. However, I think that winning the software then selling it is rather tacky. When Microsoft sends software to user groups, it is clearly marked "Not for resale". That was the intent of giveaways at DevCon, even if not labeled.
