Wayne and Mark, thank you for an excellent suggestion. While I was waiting
someone from UT to respond, I got some other suggestions too. I may be conbine
all the good tips to what I need to achieve:

I was told that I could create SQL:

Create SQL view miview as Select * from (regulation table) where 'apple'$memo_field

In this case 'apple' is the word being searched.

I am going to experiment with all the suggestion and see what I
should incorporate into my program.
