Yes, Access and Assign methods are planned for the VFP6 release 2. Just get it going as in VFP5 would be an ideal first step.

It's nice to have the Access and Assign for coding the object interface, but the actual code that does the work is still the same old menu manipulation code that we've always has (DEFINE MENU, DEFINE BAR etc). This means that stuff like colours and fonts are possible on menus, but not when that menu is replacing the standard system menu (I've tried and failed. It says so in the documentation to) :-(
