How many type of Barcode Font available in the market that is suitable to print an item code? as i know is only code 3 of 9 and code EAN 13...

MY user complaint that code 3 of 9 is too long for them.. any recommendation?

for code EAN 13 i heard that is only only support numeric itemcode, and it got to reserved 4 digits for something.. is this true???

Can anyone tell me where can i found out those information?
