>Loved the pix. Just a few thoughts (and all in fun).

>Is it me, or does Gonzo bear a resemblance to Jim Belushi in some of those?
Yes! Jim Belushi with lighter hair... and just as crazy
>From the shots, I thought Jerry Garcia and David Frankenbach look alike.
I buy that ;)

>Did Jim Booth go touring with ZZ Top after DevCon?
Jim Booth is such a work of art, he could probably teach the ZZ Top boys a thing or two. His rendition of ... (shuckz, I suck with names & had way too much alcohol to remember this song's name), as seen in Erik's shots absolutely brought the house to their knees. My personal fav part of all the jam sessions in the bar.
>Did anyone there play something other (in terms of guitars) than a Fender? Can't I bring my Martin? (Whoops, forgot. No pix of the accoustic jam session < gd&r >.
Sorry... with closing the bar down each night, I wasn't in much shape too find my way to the accoustic group. But I did help them pick out there spot Saturday night!
>And finally, I'm glad to see that UTers do keep up with fashion (sorry JVP, couldn't resist).
I my very humble opinion... the UT posse ruled DevCon99 ;) We kicked butt on the exam questions, we closed the bar down every night, always atleast one of us in the lab on a machine, we were the only substantial group that traveled from session-to-session together & took up 1+ rows, and with my backseat antics... LOL, we by far had the most laughs!
