Hello, All.

I've been using comboboxes since the beginning of time. I've never had any problems before.

Over the past few months, I've been getting an error of "Expression Evaluator Failed" when I click on comboboxes. The error does not happen on any line of code. No suspend is available.

- The combobox is a VFP base combobox (no .VCX)

- It only happens when the combobox is entered.

- It only happens once. After that it works fine.

- I can disable the error with 'ON ERROR *' in the gotfocus() of the combobox. Then, it doesn't error out, but it skips the combobox the first time through, then works fine.

- This only occurs when I run the form from my menu.

- If I run the form from an ON KEY LABEL, I get a "Fatal Exception" from time to time. (Of course, VFP is "nice enough" to bail out on this one...)

- It seems to only occur when I have a grid on the form in addition to the combobox.

- We are using Ingrid in our grids.

I'm running VFP 6.0 on a Dell450 with NT 4.0.

Any ideas/workarounds?

- George [I'm getting tired of typing 'ON ERROR *' In the gotfocus() of all my comboboxes]
