Note- except in VFP 3.0, a label's refresh method will not fire with form.refresh. For this type of thing, I usually use a textbox set to look like a label, and call the function from the refresh method.

>>Hi,
>>Within form designer, I'm trying to set up a function to display the caption for a field name. Basically, this function, at run time, goes awau to a file and gets a caption based on a parameter. Function as follows:
>>
>>=ScreLookup('SomeTexthere')
>>
>>This works ok, but on the design screen, the minute I put in the = sign (to work as a function otherwise it takes the text of the function as the caption) the caption becomes invisible, so I dont know if I have ANY caption there or not.
>>Is this right and any way of suppressing it.
