The rowsource is one of my tables. The controlsource is a property of the form. It seems that if the rowsource is a large table (in terms of fields, not records), it gives me the error. We are using a table with 86 fields as the rowsource of this object. If I pick a smaller table, it works fine.

The form is part of our "engine". It a class which does all sorts of stuff. The engine itself registers forms, and runs all kinds of code when a form is run. Even still, this is the only situation which causes any errors of this type.

Last night, we crated a form with just the combobox on it. It gets the same error, "Expression Evaluator Failed." We switched the rowsource to a smaller table (one with about 20 fields) and the problem went away. We changed it to a table with 120 fields, and we got the error.
