Thanks for the clearifications. What I was trying to tell is that DDE is not what MS is recommanding anymore. They strongly suggest using OLE instead. Meaning that you will have less and less support and examples from MS on using DDE within your app.

But again, if it aint broke...

Further, the necessary header file is included with the Win2K SDK. So it appears that, at least in the foreseeable future, DDE support by MS will continue.
