Hey Michael,

I'm noticing the same delays on our project which is still somewhat smaller than yours. I did notice some slowdown could be alleviated by moving the database files into a different project and opening them seperately when necessary. As they're not under source control it doesn't matter that much that they're seperate.

It doesn't make a big difference, but it helps.
