I have 2 different clients (not related to each other in any way) that are needing some "bridges" built to get data from my VFP application to Clipper tables that are using NDX (or NTX) indexes. (What a coincidence! The Clipper apps came from other vendors. One is custom and one is commercial accounting. They both happen to have 2 different custom VFP apps that I developed, but need to keep the Clipper apps for a while.). I know that I could use Clipper (if I knew it and had a copy of it) with a replaceable data driver to read FP2.x tables and append the data to the Clipper tables/indexes without fear of the indexes getting out of synch. However, I would much rather write the code in Foxpro, since that is what we own and that is what I know.

My question is: Does anyone know of drivers, etc. that would allow me to add records to the Clipper application tables, keeping the indexes updated in real time (IOW, don't want to make the client reindex in Clipper every time data is sent over) I would even be willing to use a Clipper/Dbase ODBC driver if I knew it would work.

Any help or advice is appreciated.
