>How do I go about reading the Foxtools.Fll or Foxtools.wri? I look up MESSAGE in the Foxpro help section but it doesn't tell me what I need to know.

Hi Jeff,
The Foxtools.wri is a Windows Write (Win 3.1) file. Word Pad will open it fine. The foxtools.fll is a special type of dynamic link library that can be used only by FoxPro. You might want to download my Extended Foxtools Help file available here at the UT in the Coding, Syntax and Commands section. It contains some additional information that I don't think you'll find in the foxtools.wri file.

George
