One other tidbit I just learned at DevCon -- look into the SET("printer", 3) -- new parameter - which reports back the current VFP printer (in case its not the same as the Windows default printer). Lisa Slater and another bystander clued me in to that -- did not even have any links for it in VFP help file, so I can't imagine how they found out themselves...
