Has anybody ever had the problem of opening another application (such as Word 97) when Foxpro is already open that you can not do a build without exiting FoxPro and opening it backup?

I'm using a Compaq Dexkpro En Series pc, with a Compaq V75 monitor and a ATI 3D Rage Pro display adapter.

Would appreciate any ideas, solutions, or insight to this problem.
