And the one thing I don't like with using _blank is unlike John Harvey's slick java script deal, if I click on a thumbnail for the larger image & don't close that 2nd window, then return to the thumbnail collection and click another image, each image opens it's own window. It would be nice if it just re-used the window from the first larger image that I clicked on. Is that do-able in straght html?

>As for question two, welcome to the dark ages. Html and most all of this Internet dev stuff is like trying to do open heart surgury with a pick ax. You could do what you want with remote scripting on the server side in VBscript, but that would be more complicated than John's,UGH-- Jscript-- answer. Not to mention that the ISP provider would have to have the latest script engine installed. Ours does not. So do the Java, if thats the effect you want? I can't beleive I said that.
LOL... ok, thanks Jeff. I think I'm gonna stew on this one awhile. I got other questions on this forum that are in the forefront of ye olde brain for now.
