I have a combo box that has the control source tied to a field in my table. When I open the form the first time and find the record I am looking for, the combo box has the correct field info, but when I click on the combo box down arrow, my rowsource info randomly picks which record it where it wants to be tied to, it won't come up on the record that is the same as my control source.

If I then choose a new record, it works fine. When I click the combo box, the rowsource record is equal to my control source. So it is only a problem the first time through. My problem is that most people using this will only use it once each time the enter it.

Any ideas why it won't give me what I want the first time? I don't think I do anything different the second time through?
