How do most of U develop cross tab reports in VFP 3.0. I have routines which populate big ole character 200 fields with pre-formatted data. Then I display them on the a VFP report form. This approach works fine as long as I use a fixed space font like courier. The VFP report gernerator, to my knowledge, does not provide a mechanism to develop cross tab reports, like Crystal Reports or some other report writer (R&R?). So, has anyone developed a method to perform this menecing task? or Has anyone used a third party report writer to interface with VFP tables and produce cross tab reports. There has to be an easier way to do it than I am currently. I also considered using Excel as a report engine. I have seen this done by other developers, but it sounds a little wierd. Any input is welcome.
